Dental Implants: why it is the best solution

Dental Implants: why it is the best solution
Dental implants is most significant dental innovation of our generation to replace the missing one or more Teeth. Presently placing implants has become mainstream and a common practice for Dental clinics like ours, Smile N care Dental Clinics.
Dental implants are permanent, so they are as close to replacing a natural tooth as the dental profession can currently provide.

What is dental implant?
The implants themselves are titanium post (which resembles a screw with threads) that is placed in the jaw bone to replace the missing teeth.  The threads on the implant post allow for the bone to fill in and integrate. The titanium fuses with the bone, so the bone can grow directly to the titanium screws, allowing for a solid attachment to an individual’s new tooth or teeth.

The implant acts as the root for the tooth to provide solid and stable support for the crown that’s yet to be placed.

You can replace one tooth or multiple teeth with implants.

Am I a candidate for dental Implants?

Almost anyone is a candidate for dental implants. Dental implants are the best option for people of all ages in good general oral health those have lost a tooth or teeth due to an accident, gum disease, an injury, or some other reason. It is important that you have enough dental bone to support the implant. There are typically only a small number of circumstances that would preclude dental implants. After careful evaluation of your health history, our dentists will alert you to any conditions that may affect your treatment. Remember,  Age, by itself, isn’t a factor in determining whether or not you can get implants.
