Dental Implants: why it is the best solution

Dental Implants: why it is the best solution
Dental implants is most significant dental innovation of our generation to replace the missing one or more Teeth. Presently placing implants has become mainstream and a common practice for Dental clinics like ours, Smile N care Dental Clinics.
Dental implants are permanent, so they are as close to replacing a natural tooth as the dental profession can currently provide.

What is dental implant?
The implants themselves are titanium post (which resembles a screw with threads) that is placed in the jaw bone to replace the missing teeth.  The threads on the implant post allow for the bone to fill in and integrate. The titanium fuses with the bone, so the bone can grow directly to the titanium screws, allowing for a solid attachment to an individual’s new tooth or teeth.

The implant acts as the root for the tooth to provide solid and stable support for the crown that’s yet to be placed.

You can replace one tooth or multiple teeth with implants.

Am I a candidate for dental Implants?

Almost anyone is a candidate for dental implants. Dental implants are the best option for people of all ages in good general oral health those have lost a tooth or teeth due to an accident, gum disease, an injury, or some other reason. It is important that you have enough dental bone to support the implant. There are typically only a small number of circumstances that would preclude dental implants. After careful evaluation of your health history, our dentists will alert you to any conditions that may affect your treatment. Remember,  Age, by itself, isn’t a factor in determining whether or not you can get implants.

Your smile is important. It's one of the first things you notice when you meet someone. A whiter, brighter smile is beautiful - it can help you feel better about yourself and make a memorable impression.

Over time, Age and lifestyle choices can diminish your smile’s beauty. Stains and discolorations can make teeth look dull or yellow. If you would like to brighten your smile, talk with our dentist at SmileNCareDental clinic about
                                                           Professional Teeth whitening
Tooth bleaching (or whitening) is an effective solution to the problem
The most effective  professional teeth whitening techniques available today are
 In-office Teeth Whitening and
At-home Teeth whitening with custom-fit trays.

Both at-home and in-office whitening can remove discolorations and lighten your smile up to 10 shades. Patient can choose  either system ,on his lifestyle preferences depending  on time ,convenience and money. Both teeth whitening techniques are best performed under your dentist's supervision to ensure the safest results.

In-Office Laser Teeth Whitening

In-office teeth whitening methods are performed with bleaching gel and laser light. This is a good method of teeth whitening for sensitive teeth, as the process may be closely monitored by the cosmetic dentist. The teeth are carefully isolated from the lips and gums, and then a bleaching gel is applied to them. A laser is used in conjunction with the gel to accelerate and amplify the tooth whitening process.

At-Home Teeth Whitening

There are several choices for those who are interested in at-home teeth whitening methods. Your cosmetic dentist can take imprints of your teeth and then make custom-fitted trays for you to take home to complete the tooth whitening process. There are also teeth bleaching kits and other over-  the -counter teeth whitening products available to brighten your smile.
Home whitening procedures
Special customize trays are fabricated to fit your mouth accurately. A whitening gel are syringed into these customized trays which are places over your teeth. The trays are usually worn overnight for up to 14 nights.
